'Post Tops'
These pieces are a development of the ‘Walking Treasures’ drawings, noticing the textures and beauty in objects on my journeys that would normally be ignored.

Bronze on painted wood with wood frame
The post tops were moulded and cast and then placed on a map of where they were found to give them context. They make reference to the man-made landscape I am travelling through, but recognise that those interventions are subject to decay by the forces of nature and that there is beauty in that decay. These pieces capture a point in that decaying process, a moment in time.
