Rust print based on a moth wing.

These rust prints are created by scratching through a painted metal sheet to the steel below, soaking the paper in rusting solution and leaving on the metal sheet, covered for a few days for the rust to soak into the paper. The metal sheet usually gives about 4 prints (before the paint starts to flake off) and each one is different.  After printing, the wing outline is then covered and gunpowder poured around it and ignighted. After washing, watercolour is then added to the background.
