Framed bronze on acrylic painting - 27x27x4cm
Sculpture in cast bronze taken from an impression of an old post top. These are attached to a painting of a map of the location where they were found to give them context. They make reference to the man-made landscape I am travelling through, but recognise that those interventions are subject to decay by the forces of nature and that there is beauty in that decay. These pieces capture a point in that decaying process, a moment in time.
There is a fitting on the back to hang this piece on a nail or screw, with rubber buffers to raise it off the wall. Bronze care instructions are also affixed to the back.
Suitable for indoor use only, but can be hung in full sun.
